We support Adults in Need, Families, and Caregivers.
Our Aging and Disability Resources Center (ADRC) offers the general public a single, no-cost, unbiased source of information and assistance on issues affecting older people and people with disabilities regardless of their income. Our staff is welcoming and offers a convenient location for you and your family to get information, advice, and access to a wide variety of services.

We serve adults, families, caregivers, and the community living in Calumet County who need information about maintaining independence, long-term care options, disability services, mental health care, Social Security and Medicare benefit programs, and much more. This includes people who meet one or more of the following criteria:
- Adults 17½ and older
- Have a developmental disability
- Have a physical disability
- Have mental health issues
- Have substance abuse issues
- Are young adults with a disability who are transitioning to adulthood
- Benefits Counseling
- Information and Assistance
- Volunteer Transportation
- Emergency Connections
- Family Caregiver Support Group
- Health and Wellness

Our team of professionals is here to assist you. We have Information and Assistance Specialists, Elderly and Disability Benefit Specialists, and a Dementia Care Specialist — who are all specially trained to help you:
- Assess your situation
- Maintain your independence
- Answer questions about Medicare and Social Security benefits
- Sort out other health-related benefit questions
- Understand the long-term care system and services that are available
- Providing assistance and counseling at no cost, we are also the access point for a variety of support services, including:
- Congregate meal sites and meal delivery
- Access to senior transport services
- Peer companionship programs
- Telephone reassurance
Our goal is to help you preserve your resources, maintain your independence, and avoid the need for long-term care services for as long as possible.
